Every marriage, especially the arranged ones in India have
three phases.
Phase one, is when they start living all Fresh, everything look so good
then. They love and respect each other. It is when the whole world
looks so beautiful. This continues normally the first two years of the marriage.
Phase two, is when they start taking the other person for granted.
This is when they discover the negatives. When they start expressing the difference in opinions and later leading to the arguements. It is no surprise if couples feel they have the worst life partner, and
they never ever had to marry each other. Everything goes wrong at this time. Even if they try
to solve the issue, it just worsens it. This is the very crucial phase of
marriage. If you manage to overcome this, then great. The love that
you shared in your first phase would definitively help in surviving this phase.
Phase three, This is when you are fed up of all the fights
and start taking it as it is. The things you learned from the pasts fights would have helped you in understanding each other better, the stengths and weakness and everything else. If you are lucky to have a kid by this time, then things become much better. You would then be yourself and again start respecting each other.
First two phases are very important for a successful
marriage life. In phase two, if you resist yourself from reacting and
expressing your emotions, the third phase might get more difficult.
